Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers, has acquired the rights to several albums and singles from his sons’ recent work through his company, Jonas Group Entertainment Holdings. The deal covers the trio’s albums The Happiness Begins, The Album (2023), their upcoming Greetings From Your Hometown, as well as singles like Remember This and Like It’s Christmas.
As reported by Billboard, Kevin Sr. told his sons he’s deeply passionate about their music and committed to preserving their legacy, saying, “I don’t know that anybody can love your music any more than I do or be any more proud of you.”
The brothers praised Jonas Group Publishing president Leslie DiPiero for her dedication to supporting songwriters and expressed excitement about continuing to work with her and the team.
Kevin Sr. noted that, given their family ties and his past experience managing the band with Phil McIntyre early on, collaborating again should be seamless.
Financial details of the deal were not shared. The Jonas Brothers still own the rights to their first four albums: It’s About Time, Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer, and Lines, Vines and Trying Times, which were released under Columbia and Disney’s Hollywood Records.
After parting ways with Disney, Nick Jonas emphasized how important it was for the band to retain control over their masters and expressed excitement for their next chapter as a group.
