Beyoncé has claimed the top spot on Billboard’s 2025 year-end touring rankings, with her Cowboy Carter tour emerging as the highest-grossing solo tour of the year. The 32-show run generated $407.6 million and drew a combined audience of 1.6 million fans.
Structured as a residency-style tour across nine cities, Cowboy Carter also set a new benchmark as the highest-grossing country tour ever recorded, according to Billboard. The achievement adds to Beyoncé’s growing list of touring milestones, placing her among a small group of artists with multiple tours surpassing the $400 million mark — and making her the first American artist to do so twice.
One of the tour’s standout moments came during a five-night engagement at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Those shows alone brought in more than $50 million from approximately 217,000 tickets sold. As reported by Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles residency was the largest reported single-venue engagement of 2025.
The SoFi Stadium run also ranked as the fifth-highest grossing tour stop in Boxscore history, trailing only record-setting residencies by U2 in Las Vegas, Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden, and Take That at Wembley Stadium. It additionally became the highest-grossing single-venue engagement ever by a female artist.
Beyoncé launched the tour on April 28 and returned to SoFi Stadium on May 1, 4, 7, and 9, averaging $11.1 million per night with crowds exceeding 43,000 attendees per show.
While Beyoncé dominated the solo touring category, Coldplay finished 2025 with the highest-grossing tour overall. Their Music of the Spheres World Tour earned $464.9 million, according to Billboard Boxscore. Meanwhile, The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour also delivered a massive year, grossing $336.7 million.
