Lady Gaga Premieres Harlequin Concert Film at Grammy Museum

Lady Gaga is bringing her Harlequin era to the big screen for the very first time.

To mark the album’s recent recognition in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category at the upcoming Grammy Awards, the Grammy Museum will host an exclusive premiere of LADY GAGA IN HARLEQUIN LIVE – ONE NIGHT ONLY in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 18. The event will include both a screening and a conversation exploring the creative process behind the project.

The concert film captures Gaga’s intimate 2024 performance at The Belasco, where she performed Harlequin in full for a small audience. The set featured her interpretations of classic American standards, including “Get Happy” and “Good Morning,” offering a rare look at a stripped-down, theatrical side of the artist.

The footage has never before been shown publicly. Tickets for the one-night-only event are now available through the Grammy Museum’s website. Gaga appeared to hint at the screening earlier this week by posting a video on Instagram that slowly zoomed in on a drum kit labeled “Harlequin.”

Released in October 2024, Harlequin debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and served as a companion album to Joker: Folie à Deux. The film starred Gaga as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

Although the project was later eclipsed commercially by Gaga’s chart-topping album Mayhem, she has continued to express pride in Harlequin, previously calling it one of her most meaningful production achievements.
