New Study: Taco consumption up in Virginia

Perhaps understandably during these difficult times, American’s have been turning to tacos for comfort. A TOP Data study has revealed that consumption of tacos has increased by 12.8% during the pandemic, that is despite the fact that a surprising 23% of Americans don’t eat tacos at all. 

But what have the people of Virginia been eating? Well, the TOP Data report revealed that Taco Bell has been Virginia's favorite taco chain during the pandemic. 

Key findings from the TOP Data study:

  • Taco Bell is Virginia's most popular taco restaurant 
  • 12.8% - The increase in taco consumption during Covid-19
  • 23% - The percentage of people who don’t eat any tacos at all. 
  • 1 in 5 - The number of Americans who eat on average at least one taco per day.
