A$AP Relli has officially dropped his civil lawsuit against A$AP Rocky over an alleged 2021 shooting incident. The case, which had been set for trial in early 2026, will no longer proceed, according to Relli’s attorney, who told Billboard that his client is now “focusing on rebuilding his life.”

Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — was acquitted in February of criminal charges related to the same incident, in which Relli (real name Terrell Ephron) claimed the rapper fired two shots at him near a Hollywood hotel. The altercation reportedly stemmed from a disagreement between the longtime friends and A$AP Mob collaborators.

Relli later filed a civil assault lawsuit in 2022, seeking damages, but has now decided to end that legal fight. “He’s ready to move on from the shooting,” his lawyer said. “The ordeal has been a nightmare for him, and the backlash — being called a liar and worse — destroyed his chances of a career in the industry.”

Although the assault case has been dropped, Relli still plans to pursue a defamation lawsuit against both A$AP Rockyand the rapper’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, who previously dismissed the shooting allegations as “extortion” and a “get-rich-quick scheme.”

Rocky maintained throughout the proceedings that no real bullets were fired, claiming the gun involved was a prop weapon loaded with blanks.
