BTS is officially returning to the global stage. The K-pop supergroup announced Tuesday, Jan. 13, that it will embark on a massive world tour spanning 2026 and 2027, marking its first full group tour since its hiatus.

The tour is set to launch April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, before heading to Tokyo and then crossing to North America later in April. The group’s first U.S. shows are scheduled for April 25–26 in Tampa, Florida, with the North American leg concluding in September with four concerts in Los Angeles.

According to a press release, the tour will reach 34 regions worldwide and include 79 total performances. In addition to South Korea, Japan, and the United States, stops are planned across Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Brazil, Malaysia, and other countries. Dates in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines are slated for 2027.

The touring announcement follows news that BTS will release its upcoming fifth studio album on March 20. The 14-track project will be the group’s first full album since regrouping and is described as reflecting the members’ personal growth, with each artist contributing individual perspectives to shape the record.

The comeback comes after the group paused activities to complete mandatory military service and pursue solo work. Last month, Jung Kook hinted that the group’s return was approaching, calling the upcoming spring “more important than ever” and encouraging fans to look ahead with excitement.
