Two major music acts are set to headline this summer’s Shenandoah County Fair, bringing both country and Christian music fans something to look forward to.
Country star Travis Tritt will perform on Saturday, August 29, marking his first appearance at the fair since 2012. A two-time Grammy winner, Tritt rose to fame as part of country music’s “Class of ’89,” alongside artists like Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, and Clint Black. His sound blends traditional country with Southern rock influences.
On Friday, August 28, contemporary Christian artist Crowder will take the stage. He previously led the David Crowder Band from 1996 to 2012 before launching a successful solo career. Crowder was scheduled to perform at last year’s fair but was forced to cancel due to an injury.
Tickets for both concerts will go on sale Friday, February 6, through the Shenandoah County Fair website.
