I don't know what it is about Doritos but something about the classic Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch flavors that just brings me back to my childhood days. Something about unicorns and colorful treats that also brings out the inner child in me. What about mixing Doritos and unicorns? Well, kind of. Rainbow Doritos are a thing! According to ABC News, "they taste like regular Doritos." But according to consumers, they do not taste like regular Doritos at all. They apparently have a lemon/lime flavor with a hint of citrus... Interesting.
So when did Frito Lay originally introduce the vibrant chip? Back in 2015, Doritos introduced 'Rainbow Doritos' at the Dallas Pride Parade. The company had partnered up with the LGBTQ+ youth community for the 'It Gets Better' campaign.
