There's some stories you see and you almost don't believe it, but it's true. This is one of those stories.
Mariam Nabatanzi of Uganda, at 39 years old, has 39 children. That's an average of one a year. Not that she was doing that, but you got the idea. After giving birth to her first set of twins, she's had five other sets of twins, four sets of triplets, and five sets of quadruplets. I'll let you guys do the math for that one.
Doctors have now banned Mariam from having any more children. Over the years, doctors told her that she had large ovaries, which caused her to hyper-ovulate, which is the explanation for her super-high childbirth rate.
Don't worry, I don't think Steve Martin is getting her life rights anytime soon for a third Cheaper by the Dozen movie, especially when it is WAY more than just a dozen.
