Miley Cyrus Is Living 'Exactly The Life She's Wanted' Amid Engagement

Miley Cyrus is thriving with new fiancé Maxx Morando.

The "Flowers" singer, 33, and the Liily drummer, 27, made waves this week after news broke that they were engaged after four years of dating. Speaking to People, an insider revealed that, despite recently engagement rumors, Morando actually popped the question a few weeks ago, surprising Cyrus with a chunky cushion cut 14-karat yellow gold ring.

"Miley is thrilled to be engaged," the source said. "The ring is so her. It has a cool, boho-rock vibe to it. It's beautiful. She didn't feel the need to announce her engagement. Maxx is very private, and it's influencing how she lives her life now."

The couple have been private about their relationship since meeting on a blind date in 2021 and going public with their romance in 2022, but the insider explained that the Something Beautiful musician "really thrives" with her beau and that "she loves her life with Maxx."

"They hang out a lot at home and love creating music together. It's exactly the life she's wanted," the source said, adding, "It's very normal and calm. She's very protective of her relationship. She's in such a great place. Her family and friends love Maxx."

Cyrus and Morando first sparking engagement rumors while walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash on Monday (December 1) when she was seen wearing diamond ring on her left hand ring finger; however, she was reportedly spotted wearing the sparkler in mid-November and it even made an appearance in her Instagram post celebrating her 33rd birthday on November 23.
