The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recalled singer, dancer and YouTube star JoJo Siwa's makeup kit from Claire's stores after asbestos was found in the product.
The FDA released a formal statement on Twitter:
“Today, the FDA is releasing new results from its continued testing of cosmetic products for asbestos & is warning consumers to not use 2 additional products that have tested positive for asbestos & have been recalled,” the statement read along with an image of Siwa’s metallic, heart-shaped set.
The 16-year-old singer partnered with Claire's to give her teen fans a one-of-a-kind makeup kit, which included eye shadow, two lip glosses and nail polish.
The recall comes three months after other Claire's products, which also contained asbestos, were pulled from the shelves.
Siwa rose to fame when she starred on TLC's Dance Moms. Now, Siwa has nearly 10 million YouTube.
