Kristin Cavallari Is ‘Working On’ Dropping ‘Cutler’ From Legal Name

Oops! Kristin Cavallari forgot to update her Zoom name ahead of chatting with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Wednesday, September 30. The Uncommon James designer and True Comfort cookbook author hilariously realized her account name mid-interview.

“Kristin, I just want you to know that your name on the Zoom should be changed,” Seacrest informed her. “It says Kristin Cutler on my screen.”

The former reality star and Jay Cutler, who were married in 2013 and share three kids together, nearly broke the internet when they announced they were separating in a joint statement this past April.

“Wow!” Kristin hilariously reacted, not realizing her username. “Technically I’m still Cutler," she added. "[I'm] working on that, but I’m literally going to take a note right now to change it,” she told Seacrest. “You’re the first person that’s said that but thank you for pointing that out. Appreciate it.”

K.Cav has been candid when it comes to her split from the NFL alum, revealing the duo attempted to reconcile their relationship but that the two simply grew apart. The confession then sparked the topic of how do you grow together with someone, versus apart?

“Clearly I don’t [know],” Kristin quipped. “I heard one time that you never really grow together,” she added. “It’s more like one person grows a little bit and then the other person catches up and then that person might grow and then that person catches up, you’re never just like along together. But I guess it boils down to can the other person catch up in time? I don’t know. I wish I had that answer. I probably wouldn’t be getting a divorce if I did.”

One crucial piece of advice that Kristin can dish out is to learn your partner’s Love Language.

“Not that I’m one to give advice currently, but one thing that I did think was really helpful was the five love languages,” she shared. “The key is obviously we all feel love a certain way, but you have to be able to speak the other person’s language otherwise it won’t resonate and I think that’s crucial.”
