R Kelly Sentenced To 30 Years For Sex Trafficking
The fall of R Kelly is now complete. After selling more than 75 million records and winning three GRAMMYs, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking and violating the Mann Act, which makes it illegal to take anyone across state lines “for any immoral purpose.”
Kelly was accused of using his fame and money to prey upon children and young women for his own sexual gratification. “This case is not about sex. It’s about violence and cruelty and control,” Judge Ann Donnelly told Robert Sylvester Kelly before imposing the sentence. “These victims were disposable to you…you taught them that love is enslavement and violence and humiliation.” Victims who testified called him an abuser and a pedophile. He chose not to address the court.
What’s next for the 55-year-old? He’ll stand trial in Chicago federal court on child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in August.

Chadwick Boseman's Widow Asks Court To Split His Estate
Simone Ledward Boseman, wife of of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, has asked a court to split the actor's estate with his parents. The 43-year-old – who succumbed to colon cancer in 2020 – passed away without a will.
Simone – who secretly married the “Black Panther” star in the months before his death – was named the representative with limited authority over his estate. After all the outstanding bills are paid, his estate will stand at $2.3 million.
Boseman’s widow wants the court to approve an equal distribution of his estate with 50 percent going to her and the other half going to his parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman. He also left behind two brothers, Kevin and Derrick Boseman.

Update: Travis Barker Hospitalized For Pancreatitis
Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital Tuesday and now multiple sources close to the family are telling TMZ it was due to pancreatitis, which has symptoms like nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting. Wife Kourtney Kardashian took Travis to West Hills Hospital, who then sent him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
No details have been officially released, but the same sources say that doctors believe it was brought on by a colonoscopy Barker had recently.
He and Kourtney have been married for just over a month, and she’s stayed by his side throughout his hospital stay.
